India and Australia are locking horns in the third and final ODI of the series on Wednesday, September 27 at Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Rajkot. Australian captain Pat Cummins won the toss and elected to bat first. The decision was vindicated by his batters as David Warner (56 off 34), Steven Smith (74 off 60) and Mitchell Marsh scoring (96 off 84) scoring half centuries.

However, the heat in Rajkot seemed to get into Smith’s head as after the 28th over of the innings a chair had to be brought into the field for the Australian batter. Smith’s video of sitting on a chair with an ice pack has been going viral all over social media.

Smith couldn’t continue his innings for long as he was dismissed shortly after by Mohammed Siraj who trapped him in front of the stumps. During his innings, he also completed five thousand runs in ODIs. Smith departed for a well-made 74 (61) with the help of eight fours and a six leaving Australia on 242/3 after 31.3 overs.

Watch Smith's dismissal here:

Earlier in the day, David Warner (56 off 34) got his team off to an incredible start adding 78 runs for the first wicket in 8.1 overs. He smacked six fours and four gigantic sixes in his innings to bring India on the backfoot early on. His innings ended in the ninth over after he failed to ramp Prasidh Krishna over fine leg and ended up scooping the ball in the air straight to wicketkeeper KL Rahul.

Watch Warner's dismissal here:

After Warner’s dismissal, Smith and Mitchell Marsh continued the attack on India with their massive 137-run stand off 119 balls. Marsh looked set for his hundred, however, he fell agonizingly short of the landmark getting caught at cover by Prasidh Krishna against Kuldeep Yadav. As a result, he departed for 96 (84) clobbering 13 fours and three sixes in his innings. Australia were 267/4 after 37 overs with Marnus Labuschagne (26* off 24) and Glenn Maxwell (0) at the crease.
