Sri Lanka cricket is in dire need of a resurgence
Sri Lanka have been grappling with their form in all forms of cricket. The country that boasted an array of match-winning performances has been displaying underwhelming performances at the marquee events. They were ousted in the group stage of the World Cup 2023 as they managed just one win in the group stage of the T20 World Cup 2024. Moreover, the cricket board was recently suspended by the ICC for the time being as it was alleged of political involvement in cricketing affairs.
