India to tour Bangladesh for three ODIs, two Tests in 2022
Bangladesh will host India for a three-match ODI series and a two-match Test series, commencing on the 4th of December.

Amidst the ongoing ruckus surrounding next year's Asia Cup, Bangladesh Cricket Board has announced that the country is all set to host India for three ODIs and two Tests in 2022. India's tour will commence with the limited-overs series on the 4th of December and will conclude with two Tests in Chattogram (14th December) and Mirpur (22nd December), respectively.
India will travel to the Bangladeshi shores for the first time since 2015. The BCB president Nazmul Hassan was delighted to welcome the Men in Blues and stated that they are looking forward to the tour since both teams have been part of some riveting contests in the recent past, making for exciting viewing.
"The Bangladesh-India matches in recent history have given us some epic contests and fans from both countries are eagerly waiting for another memorable series. I thank the Board of Control for Cricket in India for working closely with the BCB in confirming the schedule. We look forward to welcoming the Indian team to Bangladesh," BCB President Nazmul Hassan said.
Jay Shah hopes for a hard fought bilateral series between India and Bangladesh
Meanwhile, BCCI secretary Jay Shah, who has been in the news lately due to his remarks on next year's Asia Cup, congratulated the BCB and hoped for a successful organization of the tour. He stated that both teams will give their best, especially in the longer format of the game with valuable World Test Championship points up for grabs in the two-match series.
"I extend my best wishes to the Bangladesh Cricket Board for the upcoming bilateral series featuring India. The India-Bangladesh contests generate tremendous interest among the fans thanks to the massive fan following the two teams enjoy. We know how passionate the fans in Bangladesh are, and I am sure they will be treated to some exhilarating contests both in white-ball and red-ball cricket. With the crucial World Test Championship points at stake, the two Test matches are very important and both teams will go hard for the win," Jay Shah, the BCCI secretary further added in an official statement.
