The 16th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) began on Friday, March 31, with a breathtaking match in Ahmedabad between Gujarat Titans (GT) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK). The Hardik Pandya-led side defeated CSK by a five-wicket margin in the opening match.

The match also saw the first implementation of the new 'Impact Player' rule, which has been introduced by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for the first time in the history of the tournament.

With MS Dhoni suffering his first defeat of the season in the lucrative league, the spotlight is now on Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. On Sunday, April 2, Kohli's Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Rohit's Mumbai Indians (MI) will face off in their first match of the ongoing T20 extravaganza. Meanwhile, a large number of supporters were spotted waiting for hours in front of Bengaluru's M Chinnaswamy Stadium for match tickets.

The Royal Challengers Bangalore on Saturday took to Twitter and shared a heartwarming clip of fans queuing outside the stadium for match tickets. The RCB team members expressed their joy after seeing the fans' love for them and even mentioned that they have the best fans in the world.

“We love you, 12th Man Army! We bring to you Box office Ticket Frenzy on 12th Man TV. Fans wait outside the Chinnaswamy for hours to be able to get their hands on #RCBvMI match tickets. The joy on their faces tells why we believe we have the best fans in the world,” RCB captioned the post.
