Match 32 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 will feature the encounter between Gujarat Titans (GT) and Delhi Capitals (DC) at the iconic venue of Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad. Both teams are currently struggling and find themselves in the midst of a topsy-turvy season up until now.

Gujarat Titans have won three games and have lost three games as well in the six clashes till now in this edition of the IPL. They are still in the race for the play-offs and would be hoping to continue their good run of form and win their upcoming game in front of their home fans. Delhi Capitals on the other hand have lost four games already having played six matches this season. They are in a dire need of a win to keep their campaign afloat and would be hoping they can get one over the 2022 champions.

There are not many players who have played for both Delhi Capitals and Gujarat Titans over the years. This is because Gujarat Titans is still kind of a new franchise but there are some current phenoms of the game that have managed to accomplish the feat of playing for both Gujarat Titans and Delhi Capitals.

3. Vijay Shankar

The current middle-order batter for Gujarat Titans was once a marquee signing for Delhi Capitals (at the time known as Delhi Daredevils). He played for the Delhi Capitals in 2018 when he was purchased for a INR 3.20 crore. The right-handed batter had a tame season with the franchise as he scored only 212 runs but it came at a great strike rate of nearly 145.

The all-rounder then spent a few seasons with Sunrisers Hyderabad before making the big-money move to the Gujarat Titans. Under the tutelage of Ashish Nehra, the batting all-rounder flourished and has performed well for the franchise. Sometimes his displays for the team have come under scrutiny but he still has the backing of the team management.
