Jammu and Kashmir captain Paras Dogra produced a brilliant batting display on the second day at the Sher-i-Kashmir Stadium in Srinagar. Dogra scored a well-composed 75 off 143 balls, smashing six fours and one six. He shared a crucial 101-run partnership with Abdul Samad, who also contributed with a valuable 57. The partnership helped J&K build a strong platform and add important runs to their total. Towards the latter stages of the innings, Lone Nasir Muzaffar continued the momentum with an impressive 64. His knock provided further stability as J&K looked to strengthen their position in the contest.

Left-arm pacer Mukesh Choudhary produced an impressive bowling performance against the hosts, making the most of the conditions with his movement and swing. He claimed a superb five-wicket haul, finishing with figures of 5/78. Choudhary dismissed Qamran Iqbal, Shubham Pundir, Shubham Khajuria, Paras Dogra and Kanhaiya Wadhawan to put the opposition under pressure. He received valuable support from Akash Deep, who picked up three wickets for 43 runs, while Mukesh Kumar chipped in with two wickets for 84 runs. The combined effort from the pace attack helped their side make regular breakthroughs and restrict Jammu and Kashmir's batting progress.
