Team England might miss the services of their hard-hitting dasher Liam Livingstone in the upcoming 2022 T20 World Cup. The Three Lions are slated to face Australia in a three-match T20I series before starting its their campaign.

Hopefully, Livingstone will get back to full fitness before the start of the World Cup: Jos Buttler
"(He) is still a little way off at the minute so he's building back," Buttler said. Hopefully, he'll get back to full fitness before the start of the World Cup," he said. To note, Livingstone has not been seen in action since the last concluded The Hundred competition. The right-handed batter has been a top performer in the 20-over format and has entertained the crowd with his hitting capabilities.
Meanwhile, England's skipper has said that he could have played earlier but he wanted to be fully fit for the upcoming tournament. "I'm back to 100 percent," Buttler said on Saturday. Had a good time in Pakistan rehabbing, probably could have played earlier, but with the World Cup around the corner, it was the right thing to do."
With Buttler returning to the squad, one of England's openers including Alex Hales and Phil Salt would have to make way for the permanent skipper."We have great options at the top of the order with guys in really good form in Pakistan," Buttler said. "They're both excellent options. Whoever I partner with will have a great go at it."
