MS Dhoni joins Ganesh Chaturthi celebration, video goes viral

Former Indian skipper MS Dhoni was captured celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi in Mumbai as fans surrounded him. Over the past few weeks, Dhoni has captured many headlines as the former skipper has been spotted in various places, whether that's a flight, on the streets of Ranchi, or playing golf with Donald Trump.

Dhoni once again was in the spotlight, as in the viral video, he is seen offering flowers to the deity in a clip that has been doing the rounds across social media. Dhoni was spotted near Maximum City's Taj Lands End hotel and as he joined the proceedings of the celebration, fans lined up to catch a glimpse of the legendary former Indian captain. 

Recently, Dhoni was also spotted in the USA as he was captured in the audience of the recently concluded US Open. The 42-year-old was there to see the game between Carlos Alcaraz and Alexander Zverev in the US Open quarter-final. Furthermore, several pictures of him playing golf with former US president Donald Trump went viral as well.

Speaking of his on-field heroics, after his retirement from international cricket, MS Dhoni is still quite active in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The 42-year-old led Chennai Super Kings to their fifth IPL title in the 16th edition of the tournament. 

Chennai put forth excellent performances throughout the tournament and managed to topple defending champions Gujarat Titans in the summit clash of the IPL 2023. After their fifth title win, it is unclear whether MS Dhoni will return for one more season and compete in his very last edition of the IPL. 

The fans delivered the message clearly after the IPL 2023 final, that they want Dhoni to make a return for yet another seasons and it could be interesting to see how it plays out for the former India skipper.
