In a highly anticipated Asia Cup clash, Nepal's skipper Rohit Paudel conveyed his team's enthusiasm as they gear up to face the mighty Indian cricket team in Kandy. 

After getting unfavourable results in their respective first matches, both teams find themselves in a critical situation, with a ticket to the Super Four stage hanging in the balance. Nepal had to face a defeat against Pakistan in their opening match while India shared points with them as the match was washed out.

Nepal captain, Rohit Paudel, speaking at a pre-match press conference, couldn't contain his excitement, stating, "We are excited to play against India. India is a big country. We are all excited to represent Nepal against India at the biggest stage." This sentiment highlights the honour and pride associated with facing the Men in Blue.

One of the key discussions ahead of the match revolved around Nepal's strategy to tackle the formidable duo of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. Paudel shed light on their preparations, mentioning, 

"Virat and Rohit have been the stars for their country for over ten years. We have made plans to tackle them and hopefully, we will execute them tomorrow." He went on to praise Virat Kohli as an "inspiration" for all aspiring cricketers due to his work ethic and discipline, both on and off the field.

Despite a challenging start to their Asia Cup campaign with a heavy defeat to Pakistan, Paudel expressed gratitude for the fans' unwavering support. He acknowledged the team's hard work over the past few years and emphasized the significance of representing their country on such a grand stage.

The Nepal skipper acknowledged that facing India would be a "fanboy moment" for his team, given the presence of cricketing superstars. However, he made it clear that once they step onto the field, both teams would be determined to secure a victory.
