The night could bring some clouds and showers, but they are expected to come after game time. The temperature is predicted to range between 27 to 32 degrees Celsius. The match is scheduled to start at 02:00 PM IST following the toss at 01:30 PM.

Chepauk's wicket has been quite supportive for the spin bowlers but it supports the batters also if they avoid cross-batted shots.
