PCB announces revised schedule for Bangladesh A

Bangladesh A will play the first 50-over game against Pakistan Shaheens on August 26.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) recently came forward and announced their schedule for the upcoming series against Bangladesh A. The side is set to arrive in Islamabad on Saturday, August 10, for two four-day and three 50-over matches against the Pakistan Shaheens.

The games will be played at the Islamabad Club, and after their arrival on August 10, both sides will train and practice on August 11 and 12. Furthermore, from August 13–16, it will be the first four-day match against the Pakistan Shaheens.

After the first game, August 18 and 19 will once again be training and practice days. After the second practice session, August 20–23 will be the second four-day match against the Pakistan Shaheens.

The first 50-over game against Pakistan Shaheens will be held on August 26, with August 28 being the day for the second 50-over game. Lastly, August 30 will be the final day of the series, with the day hosting the third and final 50-over game. 

Pakistan announce squad for Bangladesh series

Speaking of Pakistan’s senior side, the board recently came forward to announce the 17-member squad for their upcoming Test series against Bangladesh. The series will commence on August 21. The side will be led by Shan Masood, with top order batter Saud Shakeel announced as Masood's deputy for the upcoming series.

The likes of Naseem Shah and Shaheen Afridi have also been included in the side and will surely bolster Pakistan’s pace unit against Bangladesh. As both sides gear up for the series, Pakistan and Bangladesh will hope to put in good performances and kick off the Test series with a win.
