As the dust settles on the group stage of the Ranji Trophy 2023-24 season, cricket enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting the quarterfinal clashes scheduled to commence on Friday, February 23.
The recently concluded group stage witnessed intense competition, with the top two teams from each of the four Elite groups securing their spots in the quarterfinals. The lineup for the quarterfinals is incredibly exciting, with Vidarbha, Mumbai, Tamil Nadu, and Madhya Pradesh emerging as the group winners.
The group winners will face the second-placed teams from different groups on their home grounds. This sets the stage for thrilling encounters as these cricket powerhouses battle it out for a place in the semifinals.
Meanwhile, in the Plate group, Hyderabad and Meghalaya claimed the top positions, earning themselves a promotion to the Elite Group for the upcoming season of the Ranji Trophy. On the other hand, Manipur and Goa, who finished at the bottom of their respective Elite groups, will be relegated to the Plate division.
