Former Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Virat Kohli is not only making the headlines for his batting but also for some of the infamous incidents that have happened in IPL 2023. Firstly, in the match against Delhi Capitals, the 34-year-old gave death stares to former BCCI chief Sourav Ganguly, who is rumoured to have played a role in Kohli’s removal as the ODI skipper of the Indian team.

The incident didn’t quite end there as both of them later didn’t shake each other's hands after the match. The incident escalated as the cricketers unfollowed each other on Instagram later on. Not just that, Virat Kohli also got involved in a verbal spat with two-time world cup winner Gautam Gambhir when Lucknow hosted Bangalore in Lucknow on May 1.

Speaking about all the incidents, former India head coach Ravi Shastri mentioned that Kohli needs to be careful as the cameras are often on the players after the match. He also gave examples that legendary cricketers like MS Dhoni and Sachin Tendulkar, who never got involved in any such incidents after a match got over.

“After the sequence of events last week, someone like a Kohli, someone like a Dhoni...Dhoni knows, he's a pro, that there is a camera on you and that is because you guys deserve it after what you guys contributed to the game.

"There will a camera on you, like there was on Sachin Tendulkar. Remember once the game is over, the camera is on you all the time until you get into that dressing room. You need to be careful, it's like you are flagged off. If you have that in your mindset...camera, and once the game is over, you will be fine. You can get a lot of brownie points using that camera,” Shastri said while talking to ESPNcricinfo.

Meanwhile, the 34-year-old has been fined several times in the ongoing season including 100% of his match fees was cut in the game against LSG.
