All eyes will be on the prize as team India (IND) square off against co-hosts and defending champions Sri Lanka (SL) at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Sunday, September 17. Both sides relished a magnificent run in the group stage followed by the Super Four stage of the ACC event to earn their respective spots in the summit clash.
Notably, the Men-in-Blue booked their spot in the final following a 41-run win against Sri Lanka in the Super Four. On the other hand, Sri Lanka obtained a win against Bangladesh but subsequently lost to the Rohit Sharma-led side in their Super 4 fixture.
With one last spot up for grabs to play in the final, Pakistan locked horns with Sri Lanka in what proved to be a virtual semi-final clash. The thrilling contest was interrupted due to persistent showers at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, and subsequently reduced the game to 45 overs and later 42 overs post the second spell of showers.

The Lankan Lions emerged victorious in an edge-of-a-seat thriller courtesy of a win on the final ball of the rain-marred affair.
