There could be a management shift in the Gujarat Titans fans as head coach Ashish Nehra and Director of Cricket Vikram Solanki will potentially bid adieu to the franchise. Nehra and Solanki have been associated with the franchise since its debut season in 2022, where they emerged as the winners of the tournament in IPL 2022. They were runner-ups in the IPL 2023 season and had a disastrous outing in IPL 2024 after saying goodbye to captain Hardik Pandya.
According to the latest reports from News18, legendary India cricketer Yuvraj Singh might join the GT coaching staff ahead of their next season. Gary Kirsten, who was mentoring the franchise also left the camp after he was inducted as the white-ball coach for Pakistan men’s team.
“Lot of changes on the cards. Ashish Nehra and Vikram Solanki are highly likely to move on and discussions around Yuvraj Singh have already begun. Nothing is finalised right now, but there could be some major changes in the coaching staff of the Gujarat Titans,” a source in the report said.
