It's a great feeling: Aiden Markram
After the win, Sunrisers’ skipper Aiden Markram came forward to express his feelings as well. It is worth noting that Markram stayed unbeaten on a score of 42 runs in 26 deliveries, helping his side post a big total on the board, and eventually leading them to yet another title win.
"It's a great feeling; to be in the final was a proud moment, and to rock up here and play that game of cricket was a testament to where we're going as a team. The competition is tough, every game you have to be at your best, nice to have got some momentum and carry that through, but today was a fresh start and luckily we put together a good performance. The bowlers were the shining light and the batters got us over the line. Incredibly proud of this group,” Markram was quoted as saying by ESPNcricinfo.
