Mumbai Indians (MI) opener Rohit Sharma looked at his vintage best as he gave his side an electrifying start during Match 21 of the Indian Premier League 2024 (IPL 2024) against Delhi Capitals (DC). After DC captain Rishabh Pant invited MI to bat first on a belter of a track at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, Rohit accepted the opportunity with both hands as he took on DC bowlers right from the word go.

The 36-year-old got his innings going with back-to-back boundaries in the second over against Ishant Sharma and put his wide array of strokes on display as he sent the ball to all corners of the park. Rohit’s innings was studded with six fours and three sixes, however, the highlight of his innings was his trademark pull shot.
