'Sorry if have hurt your feelings' - Waqar Younis gives epic reply to a Tweet.

The former Pakistan pacer Waqar Younis came up with an epic reply while responding to a Twitter user who had tweeted that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had approached the legendary fast bowler to take up the role of bowling coach, and also be a part of the selection committee and termed it as a 'terrible' news.

Waqar has been one of the greatest fast bowlers ever produced by Pakistan and has his name right up at the top among the greatest bowlers of all-time. He played international cricket for 14 years between 1989 and 2003. He represented Pakistan in 87 tests and 262 ODIs, and was amongst one of the most lethal bowlers of his time.

If rumours are to be believed, the former Pakistan pacer is set to be appointed as bowling coach of the men’s cricket team and will also be part of the selection committee. However, the PCB is yet to announce and confirm it officially.

A Twitter user was utterly disappointed by the rumour and expressed his frustration through a tweet. The tweet read, “PCB has approached Waqar Younis for the post of bowling coach and role in the selection committee. This is actually the most terrible news.” 

Waqar quote-tweeted and wrote, “Does not matter if I’m approached for the job you mentioned dear, what matters the most is your approach and selection of wards toward writing this tweet. Sorry if have hurt your feelings.”

Interestingly, Waqar Younis has been one of the greatest fast-bowling spearheads, and also holds a list of records to his name which the current lot of players are yet to surpass. He is revered for being the youngest-ever Test captain from Pakistan, while also being the youngest to have a five-wicket haul in ODI cricket. Additionally, he also has the record for scalping three consecutive fifers in the ODIs.
