Tamim Iqbal recently shocked the entire cricket fraternity when he announced his immediate retirement from cricket. Tamim announced his decision after Bangladesh’s loss in the first ODI against Afghanistan in the ongoing series.

There were no confirmed reasons for Tamim’s retirement, and several reports also emerged that he would be meeting with the Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina. It was reported that Tamim would be discussing his decision to retire with the Prime Minister.

After the meeting, the 34-year-old withdrew his retirement decision in a shocking turn of events. It is also worth noting that he was at the Prime Minister's residence with his wife, his former captain Mashrafe Mortaza, and BCB president Nazmul Hassan.
