Indian bowling all-rounder, Sneh Rana, commended head coach, Amol Muzumdar, describing him as exceptionally approachable. She noted that every player finds their interactions with him to be highly fruitful. Rana further characterized Muzumdar as a reliable and affable individual, highlighting that whenever players have queries or concerns, they invariably seek his counsel to resolve them.
She also remarked that Muzumdar is acutely aware of each player's strengths, their sources of motivation, and how to optimally utilize and enhance their performance on the field. Additionally, she expressed that the positivity he brings to the team was truly infectious.
“Whenever we go to talk to sir, he has such a positive impact on the players. He is a go-to person, with whom you can talk anytime in the team. If you have any doubt, you can always go to him and talk," stated Rana, as attributed by News18.
“He knows the strengths of every player, how we can motivate her and use her game well in the field, and how we can bring out the best out of her. He knows each and every player so well, and the positivity he brings to the squad is incredible,” added Rana.

She also noted that recently, there has been an influx of young players joining the team across various formats. She emphasized that Test cricket, in particular, provides a valuable platform for these emerging talents to demonstrate their abilities. Moreover, it enhances a player's patience and big-match temperament. She offered sage advice to young athletes, highlighting the red-ball format as one of the most effective formats for showcasing and honing their skills.

“As a senior player, I now see a lot of youngsters are coming in the team in every format. When we now play days cricket, as per our domestic schedule, a lot of domestic players will also get a chance to show themselves. It increases the level of patience, and match temperament of a player. I believe that Test cricket is the purest form, simply. For all the budding cricketers and for those who have just started playing, I would say Test cricket is one of the best formats to show and improve your skills," mentioned Rana.
India’s recent outstanding performance in Test cricket served as a catalyst for the reinstatement of the Senior Women’s Inter-Zonal Multi-Day tournament into the women’s domestic cricket calendar, a competition that had not been held since 2018. The revival of this tournament saw many leading players engage in red-ball cricket in Pune from April to May of this year.
