Indian women's cricket team player Taniya Bhatia's stay in England took a dramatic turn when all her belongings went missing from London's Marriott Hotel. The wicketkeeper-batter raised the issue of her stolen items with the hotel in question on Monday, 26th of September. But the cricketer is yet to receive any response from the hotel's management.

Tanya Bhatia made a shocking revelation about her stolen items in the aftermath of India's sensational clean sweep against the English side at Lord's. The 24-year-old lamented the lack of security at the Marriott Hotel after an anonymous intruder walked into her hotel room, disappearing with all her valuable possessions.

The Indian cricketer has now revealed that even after raising the issue with the officials about the mishap, no action has been taken, as of yet. The staff at the aforementioned hotel have not contacted the cricketer yet regarding her stolen items. She took to Twitter once again and highlighted the unfathomable carelessness of the management at the Marriott Hotel.

"I still haven't recd any response from the hotel management. This is quite disappointing. The items that were stolen from my room were both valuable and important to me. Has any action been taken since the theft? An update would be much appreciated," Taniya wrote on Twitter.

Taniya Bhatia had labeled the hotel as unsafe after her mishap

Earlier, she had posted about her disappeared items via her Twitter handle, bashing the hotel management for their lack of security and awareness.

"Shocked and disappointed at Marriot Hotel London Maida Vale management; someone walked into my personal room and stole my bag with cash, cards, watches, and jewelry during my recent stay as a part of Indian Women's Cricket team." read her tweet.

Bhatia, who was part of the Indian women's team touring England for two white-ball series, did not make any appearance for the side as Harmanpreet Kaur's team preferred Yastika Bhatia over her. Her last appearance for the national side came in the final of the CWG's T20 Tournament against Australia.
