Virat Kohli has achieved so much and yet has values that every mother seeks in their child, says Joshua Da Silva's mother

In a recent video that went viral on social media, West Indies wicketkeeper Joshua Da Silva’s mother was seen having an adorable moment with India star Virat Kohli. Caroline Da Silva caught up with Kohli while the Indian players were making their way to the bus and stood in absolute awe after meeting the player. After hugging Kohli, she was seen clicking a picture with him and appreciated him for a lot of things.

In a recent interview, Caroline stated how it will be an insane moment for her son if he gets to play IPL and that they will be present in India to witness this magical moment. Joshua’s mother added that IPL is too popular there with a lot of West Indies playing and it would be phenomenal if her son gets to be a part of it.

“It will be the insane dream moment for us. We will be in India to witness that moment if it ever comes true. It is hugely popular here and with so many West Indians playing it will be fantastic for Joshua if he gets an opportunity,” said Caroline while speaking to RevSportz at their Trinidad home.

Moving ahead in the conversation, Caroline lauded Kohli for being absolutely humble even after achieving so much in life. She was of the fact that India star has values that every mother would seek in her child. She also mentioned how her son felt after meeting the former India skipper and wished for his century.

“He has achieved so much and yet he has the values that every mother seeks in their child. He is a family man and the ideal son.

“He is a very reserved person and hasn’t said much. But sport is about respect and he respects Virat Kohli a lot and that’s what he was saying to Virat when he suggested that he wanted Virat to get a 100,” she concluded.
