The Mumbai T20 League 2026 Final was a thrill-a-minute ride with both teams - ARCS Andheri and MSC Maratha Royals giving their best on the field to lift the coveted title. This high-voltage clash took place at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Saturday, June 13.

The Royals scored 154/5 in their 20 overs after Andheri skipper Shivam Dube won the toss and opted to field first. Arjun Tendulkar took two wickets in one over inside the power play to rock the Royals. However, Chinmay Sutar played a sedate knock of 61 off 52 balls to take his team to a competitive total of 154/5. Captain Siddhesh Lad also chipped in with a handy 33 off 25 deliveries before getting dismissed by his opposite number.

In reply, off-spinner Maxwell Swaminathan bowled brilliantly inside the power play to strangle the Andheri batters. Meanwhile, through the middle overs, it was Aditya Dhumal's left-arm spin which kept the opposition batters in check. Divyaansh Saxena held the innings together with a patient half-century before Tushar Deshpande dismissed him in the 13th over. Pragnesh Kanpillewar chipped in with a cameo and the stage was set for Dube to put up a finishing act. However, Deshpande bounced back strongly after conceding a six to the southpaw in the 18th over and dismissed him for a 10-ball 15.

During the penultimate over, Gaurav Jathar hit Irfan Umair for a six but was dismissed off the very next ball. The fielding side was understandably over the moon after the dismissal and Jathar was visibly frustrated. There was a clash of words between players near the dugout and the fourth umpire had to intervene to separate the players. Dube also reacted quickly to diffuse the situation. Players from the dugouts of both teams also got involved to settle things down.
