Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) captain Rajat Patidar continues to entertain cricket fans with his explosive batting. After leading RCB to back-to-back Indian Premier League (IPL) titles in 2026, the stylish right-handed batter has now grabbed headlines in the ongoing Madhya Pradesh T20 League (MPL) 2026 with a stunning six that sailed out of the stadium.

Patidar is currently leading the Gwalior Cheetahs in the MPL 2026 and produced a moment of sheer brilliance during his side’s high-scoring encounter at the Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore. A video of the shot has since gone viral across social media platforms, with fans left in awe of the batter’s incredible power-hitting.

The incident took place during the 15th over of Gwalior Cheetahs’ chase of a daunting 239-run target. With his team needing quick runs, Patidar took charge of the innings and unleashed a breathtaking maximum.

Facing pacer Ankit Kushwaha, who delivered a full-length ball right in the batter’s hitting zone, Patidar cleared his front leg and smashed it cleanly over the long-on boundary. The ball travelled an enormous distance and went completely out of the Holkar Cricket Stadium, leaving everyone stunned.

The clip of the gigantic hit quickly spread on social media, with fans praising Patidar’s effortless timing and power.

Interestingly, the celebrations did not last long for the Gwalior Cheetahs skipper. In an anti-climactic twist, Patidar was dismissed on the very next delivery after producing the spectacular six.

Despite his dismissal, the 32-year-old played a crucial knock for his side, scoring 45 runs off just 23 deliveries. His innings was laced with five boundaries and two sixes and helped keep Gwalior Cheetahs in the contest during a challenging chase.

Patidar has been in exceptional form throughout 2026. Following his historic IPL campaign with RCB, where he guided the franchise to a second successive title, the Madhya Pradesh batter has carried the same confidence into domestic cricket.
