The mercurial batter scored a well-made 79 off just 69 balls in the third ODI, helping India seal the whitewash with a nine-wicket victory. Chasing 219, he stitched a 170-run opening stand with Yashasvi Jaiswal, who scored an unbeaten 110 off just 86 balls. During the innings, Rohit became the oldest Indian player to score an ODI half-century at the age of 39 years and 51 days.
