West Indies are set to tour Zimbabwe to play two Tests starting from February 4, 2023. Both the games will be played at the Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo as the series will mark the beginning of the 2023 season for the Caribbean side under skipper Kraigg Brathwaite.

Zimbabwe had lost their last one off Test versus Bangladesh. Since then, they have had a strong showing in ODIs and T20Is. They will fancy their chances at home against West Indies who were swept aside by Australia in their last assignment.

The schedule was confirmed on February 2, 2023 by Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC), with the first Test scheduled for February 4-8 and the second Test scheduled for February 12-16. West Indies have earlier played a four-day warm-up match against a local team at Bulawayo Athletic Club between January 28 and 30 in advance of the two-Test rubber. Zimbabwe’s last Test match was in July 2021 in Harare against Bangladesh, and they will be eager to make the most of the upcoming series.

Zimbabwe are currently 10th in the Test rankings while the West Indies are placed eighth. Both the teams have clashed 10 times in whites, with the West Indies leading with seven wins while Zimbabwe are yet to win a match.
