The West Indies and India will square off in the second T20I of their ongoing multi-format series on Sunday, August 6, at the Providence Stadium, in Guyana. The hosts will be coming into the game on the back of a brilliant win in the first T20I and will be keen on producing similar results in the second game.

However, there is always the chance that the match could be disrupted due to rain playing spoilsport, and that could turn out to be true for the forecast predicted for the second T20I. According to Accuweather, there is a seven percent chance of rain, with it increasing to a whopping 71 percent in the afternoon.

The match will begin in the morning (10:30 am local time), but seeing the prediction of rain in the afternoon, there is a good chance that the game will be disrupted and the fans could witness showers. Furthermore, the temperature is expected to be around 30 degrees Celsius.

West Indies defeated India in the first T20I by four runs

Speaking of the first T20I, the Windies put forth a sensational performance in the first game of the series. After losing the Test and ODI series, the hosts made quite the comeback.

Batting first, the Windies got off to a subpar start as the top order failed to get off to the best of starts. However, the brilliant knocks by Nicholas Pooran and skipper Rovman Powell in the middle order helped the side post a good total on the board.

Pooran scored 41 runs, whereas Powell amassed 48 runs, and the Windies posted 149 runs on the board. Aiming to chase down a target of 150 runs, team India fell prey to the brilliant bowling attack of the Windies. Obed McCoy, Romario Shepherd, and Jason Holder took two wickets each and limited India to a total of 145 runs.

Tilak Varma was the highest run-getter for India in the first game of the series with a score of 39 runs, as the Indian team lost the game by four runs. As the second T20I approaches, the Hardik Pandya-led side will be hoping to make a comeback.
