Women's Premier League 2023: Mumbai Indians unveil jersey ahead of inaugural edition

The countdown has begun for the commencement of the much-awaited inaugural Women's Premier League 2023 (WPL) and gradually, the tournament logo, franchises, franchise logo, team players everything is being revealed to the fans of the sport.
And to add to it now, Mumbai Indians have unveiled the official jersey for the tournament which the players will be sporting during their matches. A small portion of the Mumbai Indians squad has already begun their training sessions to gear up for the event.

Through their official social media handles, Mumbai Indians unveiled their jersey which looks quite similar to the men's jersey. The caption of the video read, "It's what Superheroes wear"

The Mumbai Indians roped in India skipper Harmanpreet Kaur for INR 1.80 crore. The decision by Mumbai Indians has been lauded by many as cricket pundits suggested having a quality captain would definitely provide a psychological advantage to the players and Harmanpreet has the capability within her to motivate her players a lot.
On paper, Mumbai Indians fared quite well at the auction, though there are some who believe that their bowling department looks a little weak as compared to their counterparts. But only time will tell how Mumbai Indians perform in the inaugural edition.
Mumbai Indians will be kickstarting the proceedings with the first match on March 4, 2023 against Gujarat Giants.
