The inaugural edition of the Women’s U19 World Cup is all set to commence on January 14, with the finals to be hosted on January 29 at Senwes Park in Potchefstroom. A total of 41 matches will be played across 15 days and a total of 16 teams (11 full ICC members and five associate nations) will be seen participating in the first edition of the competition.

All the teams are already divided into four groups namely - A, B, C, and D. Each group will have four teams and after the culmination of the initial group stage top-three teams from each group will advance to the Super Six round.

In the Super Six round, Group 1 will have the top three teams from Group A and D and Group 2 will have the same from Group B and C. Furthermore, the top two teams from each of the Super Six groups will qualify for the semi-finals and the winners of the same will eventually play the all-important final.
