He was caught at gully off the second delivery he faced, with left-arm pacer Vishwa Fernando taking the wicket.

Jaiswal walked out to open alongside KL Rahul after the home side closed their first innings on 363 for eight. His stay at the crease lasted just two deliveries before Fernando found the edge and the fielder at gully completed the catch, leaving India's preparations for the Test series without a meaningful contribution from their first-choice opener.
