The two-match Test series has entered the last stage as Bangladesh (BAN) are once again ready to host the West Indies (WI), with the second Test scheduled to get underway on Thursday, November 05, at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.
Bangladesh started with a loss in the series opener at Dhaka despite getting a wonderful start in the first innings from Shadman Islam. A lead in the first innings wasn't enough, as their batters collapsed completely in the second to hand an easy target for the Caribbeans, with the match ending on the fourth day itself.
The West Indies, on the other hand, made a terrific comeback in the opening encounter to gain an unassailable lead in the series. While they may not have a realistic chance to make their way through to the World Test Championship Final 2027, they would certainly want to find their purpose with a series win through a clean sweep over the Bangla Tigers.
