The Women's T20I series between Bangladesh and India has been full of ups and downs. After a thrilling encounter in the first T20I where India chased down a low target, both sides faced off in yet another low-scoring affair in the second game.

Coming in to bat first in the second T20I, India only managed to score 95 runs in the first innings. As the game looked to be slipping away from their grasp, the visitors put together a sensational performance with the ball and managed to bundle out the opposition for 87.

Bangladesh skipper Nigar Sultana provided the side some hope during the run chase, but apart from her none of the other batters failed to make an impact as Shafali Verma and Deepti Sharma wreaked havoc in the second innings.

Having secured the series in fabulous fashion, India will now be facing them in the final and third T20I of the series on July 13 at the Sher-E-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur. Meanwhile, after losing the first two T20Is, Bangladesh will look for a consolation win in the third game whereas India will be keen on a clean sweep.

Pitch and Conditions

The surface at the Sher-E-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur is favourable for the spinners. With the average score at the ground being 106, another low scoring affair could be expected. Electing to bowl first could prove to be a wise decision.
