England and Ireland are all set to continue their ongoing series as they gear up to take on each other in the third and final ODI of the series at the Gloucestershire Cricket Stadium in Bristol, on Tuesday, September 26.

The first ODI of the series was abandoned without a ball being bowled. However, England put forth a brilliant performance in the second ODI and managed to register a comfortable 48-run victory. Will Jacks and Sam Hain played brilliant knocks, with Rehan Ahmed and George Scrimshaw showcasing their skills with the ball.

As the third ODI approaches, England will look to put forth yet another impressive performance in the final ODI and clinch the series. As the World Cup 2023 looms around the corner, England will look to finish the series on a positive note.

Pitch and conditions

The surface at the Gloucestershire Cricket Stadium in Bristol offers a pitch that is preferable for the batters. Furthermore, as the day goes on, the batting becomes even easier on the ground. Opting to bat first and posting a big total on the board could prove to be a good decision at this venue.
