Team India will face South Africa once again in the second T20I encounter to be played at the Barsapara Cricket Ground, Guwahati. The Men in Blue will want to win the second match as well and clinch the series.

Talking about the first game, South Africa batters did not have any answers to team India's pacer as batters including Quinton de Kock, skipper Temba Bavuma, Rilee Rossouw and David Miller failed to get going. The Proteas side somehow managed to cross the 100-run mark in their allotted 20 overs.

With the ball, Africa's pacer managed to scalp two big wickets of captain Rohit Sharma and senior batter Virat Kohli. However, opening batter KL Rahul and Suryakumar Yadav smashed excellent fifties for the home team as the Men in Blue won easily in the end. The visiting team will need to perform much better as compared to their first match if they want to give any challenge to the Indian side which is missing some key players.

Pitch Conditions

Only one T20I encounter has been played at the venue and both teams will be looking to have a bowl first to get an idea about the pitch. However, the state association has said that a good batting wicket will be provided for the game with the batters from both teams looking to make the most of it.
