India Women are all set to take on Australia Women at the Brabourne Stadium in the fourth T20I of the five-match series. The visitors have been outstanding so far in the series and India’s efforts with both bat and ball haven’t been enough against the quality side. With the series on line, the hosts will need to bring their A-game for the upcoming fixture.
After winning the second T20I in the Super Over, a confident Indian side came into the Brabourne Stadium. However, they did not have the best of outings as they yet again succumbed to a brilliant knock from Elysse Perry which setup the win for the visitors.
The much-experienced top four batters in the Indian side will need to step up as they are yet to be consistent with their knocks. Shafali Verma’s half-century turned out to be one of the positive limelight in the batting order while Renuka Singh was potent with the ball. A spirited Indian side is expected to bounce back in the fourth T20I which starts on December 17.
Pitch Conditions
The Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai is one of the smallest venues and it is hard to stop the run flow at the ground. The skipper winning the toss will look to bat first and pile up a big score on the board which worked out in the previous game at the same venue.
