India (IND) are all set to face off against Ireland (IRE) in the T20I series opener at The Village, in Dublin. The excitement surges as Jasprit Bumrah makes his long-awaited return and will also lead the young Indian side. Among some notable faces, fresh faces like Rinku Singh and Yashasvi Jaiswal add excitement to the new T20I Indian side.

The Indian cricket team recently suffered a surprising T20I series defeat against the West Indies, which led to heavy criticism from fans and analysts. As a result, India is determined to step up their game and improve upon their disappointing performance from the previous tour. During their last visit to Ireland in 2022, India managed to secure a convincing victory in the two-match T20 series, winning both matches and claiming a 2–0 series win.
