ODI World Cup 2023, Match 39: Australia vs Afghanistan Match Preview

The action will continue in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 as Australia and Afghanistan take on each other in Match 39 on Tuesday, November 07 at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. Australia are coming into the game on a five-match winning streak as they beat England in their last fixture by 33 runs. The Pat Cummins-led side are ranked on the third spot on the points table with five wins from seven matches having ten points to their name.

On the other hand, Afghanistan are also coming into the game on a three-match winning streak as they find themselves on the sixth spot on the points table with four wins from seven matches having eight points to their name. They started their campaign with back-to-back losses against Bangladesh and India.

However, the Hashmatullah Shahidi-led side scripted history by beating the defending champions England in their third fixture.
