After the first match of the series was abandoned due to rain, South Africa and India have travelled to Gqeberha, where the second T20I of the series is slated to take place. Coming to the visiting team, there are certain players in the form of Yashasvi Jaiswal, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Rinku Singh and Mukesh Kumar that the team management will keep a close eye on as they are eager to build a strong core for the upcoming T20 World Cup.

South Africa, meanwhile are without Temba Bavuma and Kagiso Rabada among a few others from the bowling unit. However, they have a very strong batting unit, which will pose a massive threat to the Indian bowlers. Reeza Hendricks, Aiden Markram and Heinrich Klaasen are in good form and will be key for the team while David Miller and Marco Jansen will have the role of a finisher.

St George’s Park Pitch Report

The surface at St George’s Park will help the batters dominate. The pacers are likely to get some help from the surface as there will be bounce which will also be ideal for batters to play through the line. Bowling first will be the go-to option as anything over 185 will be a safe total.

Probable Playing XI

South Africa
