Following the conclusion of the ODI series, team India are all set to square off against the West Indies in a five-match T20I series. The first fixture will be played at the Brian Lara Stadium in Trinidad on Thursday, August 3.

The Men in Blue are riding high on the back of successful three-match ODI series, 2-1, following a humongous win in the third and final contest. Speaking about their head-to-head records, the two sides have contested in 25 T20Is thus far.

While India have a massive upper hand with 17 wins, the Windies have won on seven occasions and one match yielding a no result. Notably, wicketkeeper-batter Shai Hope, Shimron Hetmyer, and Oshane Thomas earned recalls to the setup. Rovman Powell will lead the Windies, whereas Hardik Pandya will lead team India in the upcoming series. Both sides will look to take an early lead and keep momentum at their end.
