Brosid T20 Bash 2022, Day 1: Review

The second edition of Brosid T20 Bash in affiliation with Bareilly Cricket Association has already kicked up where 12 teams would be fighting out for the title. The first match of the league was played between Youth Alliance vs 11 bro cricket club in which 11 bro team won the toss and decided to field, batting first youth alliance team set a target of 156 runs losing 9 wickets. In their innings, Mustakim contributed 28 runs, Tariq Khan 24 and Talib contributed 20 runs while Anmol took three wickets and Yogesh took two wickets from 11 bro. Man of the match Talib was selected!

The second match of the day was played between Mastelians Cricket Club vs Badaun Dynamic wherein Badaun Dynamic team won the toss and decided to bat first. In front of Mastelians Cricket Club's tight bowling, Badaun Dynamic's batsmen could score only 116 runs by losing 7 wickets. From Mastelian team, Dhirendra Yadav took two wickets and Krishan Yadav and Abdul Samad took one wicket each. Shoaib Siddiqui's blistering 80 not out in just 30 balls and Krishan Yadav's innings of 22 came from Mastelian's team. Shoaib was awarded the man of the match. 

On this occasion, Secretary of Bareilly Cricket Association, Chairman of Senior Tournament Committee, Mr. Col. Sitaram Saxena, Director of Brosid Group, Mrs. Sunita Bhamri, Chairman of Khusro Degree College, Mr. Sher Ali Jafri, Mr. Mati Anand, etc. were present. Tomorrow's first match will be played between Khalifa Cricket Academy vs 11 Bro while the second match will be played between Badaun Dynamic vs IK collection.

A total of 15 matches between 12 teams will be played in the tournament and the final will be played on December 17. The team have been divided into four pools, namely A, B, C, and D. All the games will live-streamed on Fancode.
