GT vs SRH, IPL 2024, Match 12: Stats Preview of Players' Records and Approaching Milestones

Gujarat Titans (GT) will take on Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in match 12 of the IPL 2024 at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad on Sunday, March 31. Both teams will clash again in the reverse fixture on Thursday, May 16 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Hyderabad.

Shubman Gill’s GT started their season with a victory in a close game against Mumbai Indians (MI) by a margin of six runs at their home ground. But they came crashing down soon against defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in their second game of the season in Chennai.

Speaking about the last game of the Titans, Sai Sudharsan 37(31) played a superb Innings but failed to up the ante when required to chase a huge total and also there were no huge contributions from other batters and bowlers as well. Titans will be hoping that all the players get into good form and the team gets a good start from the top-order and bowlers as well.

On the other hand, Pat Cummins-led SRH began their 2024 campaign with disappointment as they lost against two-time champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by a margin of four runs. But they came back very strongly against Mumbai Indians (MI) beating them by 31 runs in their second game of the season at home. Importantly, they also scored the most runs by a team in an innings in the history of IPL (277/3) in the last game.

Speaking about the last game of the Sunrisers, Heinrich Klaasen 80*(34) played a fabulous knock and continued his great form this year and also in the ongoing tournament. Along with him, Abhishek Sharma 63(23) played a magnificent innings and scored the fastest fifty for SRH. Travis Head 62(24) played a fabulous innings and led the charge from the front which helped SRH lay the foundation and score a massive total. Speaking about the bowlers, skipper Pat Cummins (4-0-35-2) bowled a crucial spell in a very high-scoring match. The Sunrisers will hope all these continue their good form.
