After thrashing Australia by an innings and 132 runs in just three days in the opening Test match in Nagpur, Rohit Sharma-led team India now look to continue their domination on home soil by meeting Australia in the second game of the series at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. The match is scheduled to start on February 17. The third and fourth encounters will be played from March 01-5 in Indore and March 9-13 in Ahmedabad respectively.
Meanwhile, the deadly spin duo of Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja made life hell for the Australian batters in Nagpur. The spin twins picked up 15 wickets between them in the match as the visitors had no answer whatsoever against the quality pair. The Aussies got bundled out for 177 in the first innings while the hosts posted 400 on the board courtesy of a solid century (120) from skipper Rohit.
The Kangaroos suffered more embarrassment in the second innings as they got bowled out for just 91. Jadeja was adjudged with the Player of the Match for his seven wickets and a half-century. Pat Cummins and Co. will look to bounce back from the Nagpur defeat and level the series 1-1 with a victory in the capital.
