India and Pakistan will lock horns yet again in Asia Cup 2022 when the two rivals meet in Match 2 of the Super 4 round on Sunday, September 04, 2022, at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai. Both teams defeated Hong Kong comfortably in the previous round. Meanwhile, Pakistan suffered a five-wicket loss to India in the group stage.

Sri Lanka and Afghanistan are the other two teams in the Super 4, with all teams playing three games each before the mega final. Seven-time champions India will look to register another victory over the Men in Green, who are coming on the back of a remarkable 155-run win over Hong Kong.

He is followed by veteran Shoaib Malik (164) and Mohammad Hafeez (156). In terms of wickets, pacer Umar Gul leads the pack with 11 wickets to his name. He is followed by India’s duo of Bhuvneshwar Kumar (9) and Hardik Pandya (7).

As mentioned above, India and Pakistan met in their respective opening fixture of the ongoing Asia Cup 2022 competition at the same venue. Pakistan batted first and got bowled out for 147 in 19.5 overs with Mohammad Rizwan scoring 43. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Hardik Pandya took four and three wickets respectively as they both restricted their rivals to below 150. In reply, Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja both scored 35 each while Hardik’s unbeaten 33 off 17 got his side over the line to script a five-wicket victory.
