Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will look to entertain fans in match no. 15 of the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Monday, April 10 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore.
Both teams will clash again in the reverse fixture on Monday, May 1 at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.
The Faf du Plessis-led RCB began their 2023 campaign with a bang as they thrashed five-time champions Mumbai Indians (MI) by a margin of eight wickets at home. But they came crashing down soon against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in their second game of the season in Kolkata.
Nitish Rana’s KKR dismantled RCB by a margin of 81 runs courtesy of Shardul Thakur’s quick blitz. With two points and a net run rate of -1.256, they are placed seventh in the IPL 2023 points table.
On the other hand, KL Rahul’s LSG also started off their season with a victory over Delhi Capitals (DC) by a 50-run margin in Lucknow. But even they suffered a defeat in their second match at the hands of four-time winners Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by a margin of 12 runs in Chennai.
LSG returned to winning ways against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in their third encounter. With four points and a net run rate (NRR) of +1.358, they occupy the second spot on the table. (All scenarios till match no. 12). Faf and his men will be looking to make a comeback in front of their home crowd as they aim to register their second win of the ongoing season.
