LSG vs DC, IPL 2024, Match 26: Stats Preview of Players' Records and Approaching Milestones

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will take on Delhi Capitals (DC) in match 26 of the 17th edition of the Indian Premier League 2024 on Friday, April 12, 2024, at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana International Cricket Stadium, in Lucknow. In the ongoing tournament, the Super Giants have started the season with a bang.

They have won the three matches and lost just one so far. Thus, the KL Rahul-led side would like to continue their winning momentum. On the other hand, DC have started the season slowly. They have won only one match and lost four matches in this tournament. Thus, the Capitals would like to come back to their winning momentum in the tournament.

Speaking about the last game of the Super Giants, Marcus Stoinis 58(43) played a magnificent innings which helped LSG to post a par total on the challenging pitch. In the end, Nicholas Pooran 32*(22) played superb finisher innings which helped LSG to post a total of 163.

Speaking about the bowlers, Yash Thakur (3.5-1-30-5) bowled excellently which helped Lucknow to defend the par target. Krunal Pandya (4-0-11-3) bowled beautifully and kept things tight. Lucknow got excellent support from all the other bowlers as well. 

Speaking about the last game of the Capitals, Tristan Stubbs 71(25) played a magnificent innings that helped the Capitals score up to 200 which actually reduced the margin of loss by runs.

Prithvi Shaw's 66(40) played an excellent knock which kept the Capitals in the game initially, but the Capitals lost Shaw at the wrong time to an unplayable nail-biting yorker from Bumrah. Speaking about the bowlers, Axar Patel (4-0-35-2) who bowled beautifully helped DC to restrict MI below 250. But they did not get the support from other bowlers to restrict MI for a lesser total. The Capitals will hope all these continue their good form and good support from bowlers as well.
