New Zealand (NZ) and Pakistan (PAK) clash again in the fourth T20I of their five-match series at the Hagley Oval in Christchurch, on Friday, January 19. Black Caps have already gained a 3-0 series lead after their dominant 45-run win in the previous encounter, and seek to extend their dominance. Pakistan, on the other hand, desperately seeks a victory to avoid a clean sweep.

The third T20I saw New Zealand bat first after Pakistan's decision to field. Fin Allen's explosive century (137 off 62 balls, 5 fours, 16 sixes) powered New Zealand to a mammoth 224-7. Tim Seifert (31 off 23) and Glenn Phillips (19 off 15) provided valuable support, while Haris Rauf endured a forgettable outing with 60 runs conceded in four overs.

In reply, Babar Azam's well-crafted 58 (8 fours, 1 six) was Pakistan's lone bright spot. Mohammad Rizwan (24) and Mohammad Nawaz (28) chipped in briefly, but the remaining batters collapsed, leaving Pakistan at 179/7, with Tim Southee (2-29) the standout bowler. Finn Allen, the hero of the match with his record-breaking knock, received the Player of the Match award.

Meanwhile, let us look at stats and approaching milestones from the fourth T20I between New Zealand and Pakistan:

NZ vs PAK Head-Head records: In as many as 37 games played between the two teams, Pakistan have been on the winning side for 20 matches while the Black Caps emerged victorious 16 times. One game between them ended in a No-Result.
