New Zealand (NZ) and Pakistan (PAK) will clash in the 35th match of ODI World Cup 2023 on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

New Zealand come into the contest after three consecutive losses against India, Australia, and South Africa. In their previous match against the Proteas, the Kiwis bowled first and conceded 357 runs, with Tim Southee taking two wickets and Trent Boult and James Neesham picking up one each.

In their chase, Glenn Phillips scored 60 while Will Young scored 30, but no other batter made a significant contribution as New Zealand were bowled out for 167 in 35.3 overs, losing the match by a massive margin of 190 runs. New Zealand have won four of their seven matches played so far and are currently placed fourth in the points table with a net run rate of 0.484. 

On the other hand, Pakistan come into the contest after a win over Bangladesh by seven wickets. Pakistan bowled Bangladesh out for 204, with Shaheen Afridi and Mohammad Wasim Jr. taking three wickets each while Haris Rauf got two. Pakistan chased the target down with seven wickets in hands thanks to the solid contributions of Abdullah Shafique (68) and Fakhar Zaman (81).
