Bangladesh vs Sri Lanka, ODI World Cup 2023, Match 38: Stats Preview of Players' Records and Approaching Milestones

In the batting department, Mahmudullah scored a half-century, contributing 56 runs, while Litton Das scored 45 runs, and Shakib added 43 runs. Towards the end, Mehidy Hasan Miraz played a cameo, scoring 25 runs, helping Bangladesh reach a total of 204 runs. In the bowling department, only Mehidy Hasan Miraz managed to take three wickets, but their efforts were not enough to defend the total, resulting in a 7-wicket loss for Bangladesh.

Sri Lanka will be aiming to secure a victory in this match to keep their hopes alive for a spot in the semi-finals, but their fate will also depend on the results of other matches.
