Cricketing trends in twitter today saw tweets coming from all parts of the world. Vintage cricket reference book Wisden Almanack today announced its list of cricketer of the year for 2015. The list features New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson, retired legend Brendon McCullum, Australian skipper Steven Smith, England wicket-keeper batsman Jonny Bairstow and all-rounder Ben Stokes all made it to the list for their exceptional performances. The individuals were applauded on the micro-blogging site by various cricketers.

Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Singh all wished their fans on the occasion of Baisakhi. It was festival time in Sri Lanka too as the Island nation celebrated Sinhalese and Tamil New Year. Sanath Jayasuriya Angelo Matthews and Kumar Sangakarra all wished their country on the special occasion. Matthew Hoggard was enjoying the evening view while the Gujarat Lions team were sweating in the sweltering heat in Rajkot.
