Cricketing trends in Twitter today saw tweets coming in from all parts of the world. October 2nd marks the birth anniversary of the legendary Indian figures – Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri. Whole nation celebrated the occasion paying respect to their contribution to the country’s prosperity. Cricketers like Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, and VVS Laxman all paid tribute to them.

Jacques Kallis and Kevin Pietersen were running for shade to save themselves from sudden showers. Mitchell Marsh found an amusing snapshot on TV. Mitchell Johnson was proud of the young achievers.
